Uday made Abha choose between her family and Karan. Although, this was a difficult decision for her, she decided to stay back at the hospital to take care of Karan. Uday disowned Abha and he asked Sanskar for forgiveness. Jagmohan’s mother convinced him that Abha is truly in love with Karan so Jagmohan decided to finalise the marriage rites.when Chandra got the news she decided to speak to her husband but Uday said he would not partake in the ceremony. Abha pleaded with her father but he refused and said Jagmohan will never treat her as his daughter in law and she would always be treated as a slave. The ceremony was meant to take place between both immediate families but Jagmohan invited over one hundred guests to humiliate the Singh’s. He also taunted Chandra for not being able to feed his guests. Sania and Sanskar decided to order food from nearby hotels to cater for the guests. When Uday could no longer tolerate Jagmohan’s insult he decided to confront him but Karan stepped in just in time to cool it of. Karan successfully got married to his beloved wife Abha.
