Jigyasa and Pronita come face to face. She then tells her that she has been looking out for the past 16 years. Pronita tells Jai about Krishna’s job but her timing is too late. Jai agrees to divorce Pronita for the sake of his daughter’s freedom. Jai is shocked when Pronita gives him a condition to their divorce. When Meera realises that she has lost Krishna’s trust, using her as a pawn is no longer an option. Jai is convinced of Jigyasa’s presence in the Walia house. However, Pronita manages to convince him otherwise. Meera puts a plan together to go against Pronita but it looks like she and Jigyasa’s joined forces are strong. A love story begins when Ganga falls in love. The family Ganga is marrying into is under the impression that Jai and Meera are still married. Jai decides to hide this truth for her daughter’s happiness. It is revealed that Ganga’s groom is actually just a pawn in Meera’s hands. Pronita uses Ganga’s inlaws’ weakness to create a rift between them and Meera. Meera realises someone else knows the secret she has been hiding. This leaves her worried as this person is also after her. After much struggle Pronita finally manages to rescue Ganga. Rishi then proposes that he takes Ganga as his wife. Meera’s true colours are finally being revealed to the whole family and she is arrested. Ganga is finally sent to her new in-laws. However it seems like the transition will be difficult for her. Jigyasa reveals to Pronita how she backstabbed her. She then throws her out of the Walia house. Jai decides to leave Mumbai to erase all his sad memories. Pia and Rano find out that Pronita is actually Bani. The two decide to stand by her. Jigyasa finds herself in a situation where she is forced to reveal Pronita’s real identity. Bani is finally reunited with her family. Veer lands up in the Walia house, to his surprise he finds Pushkar and Piya there. His arrival brings joy to Jigyasa as she now has a new pawn in the picture.
