Mithilesh was taken in to police custody and Lakhan helped Poonam so she could testify against Mithilesh. Thanks to the Thakur’s family influence and Priyom’s grandmother’s false testimony in court Mithilesh was released. Manohar paraded Bindiya before the village council and he stripped her in front of the entire village and then he pushed her off a cliff into the river. Poonam and Lakhan tried to save her but they failed. Manohar asked the Thakur family not to mourn Bindiya’s death and he asked Ghuddi to terminate her pregnancy.
