Gangaa participated in a competition with the hope of winning a bicycle but the village chiefs son got the bicycle instead. Gangaa was devastated despite being compensated with some money. Gangga’s father and husband died in a stampede, she tried looking for her father in-law and she almost fell into the river but Mr. Niranjan saved her. Niranjan asked Ragav to take her to the Registrar but Gangaa was heartbroken when her father in-law told the registrar that she is dead. Mr Niranjan then asked Ragav to take her to the orphanage.
